Journey Into The Realm of Madame Pele
Your experienced pilot will share stories about Madame Pele. Known as Pelehonuamea, she sends rivers of lava down the mountainside, creating new land while devouring small towns and forests. She has added over 70 acres to the island's southeastern coast since 1983.
Feel her presence at Kīlauea, one of the world's most active volcanoes, located within Halema‘uma‘u crater at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Explore this dynamic landscape and learn about the incredible forces that continue to shape Hawaii's breathtaking scenery.
