      *Disclaimer: Please note that there are limited direct flights available between Maui and Kauai. Most flights operate via Oahu and include a layover. The layover time is typically no longer than 40 minutes.

      Regulations

      Seating for parties of more than 6, or weighing a combined 1000lbs, will be seated across multiple aircrafts. Please provide accurate body weights as our ability to execute tours depends on this.

      Guidance
      • 24-48 hours prior to your tour, please re-confirm your pick up time and location.
      • You are unable to make any name or date changes once you have confirmed your booking.
      • TSA rules apply.
      • Please wear dark clothes to minimize glare in the helicopter.
      • Guests will be required to weigh-in prior to their flight. Those guests who weigh above 240 lbs will be subject to a fee of up to $250.
      • We will no longer provide car seats for children on our Big Island tours. Guests traveling with young children must bring their own car seats.
      Booking

      There are NO cancellations on neighbor-island day trips. There are fees for changing 7 days after booking the tour.

      If the helicopter tour must be canceled by the company for any reason, guests will be refunded for the helicopter tour and welcomed on an extended sightseeing land tour.

      Guests may opt for an early return and receive a refund for the helicopter tour portion. All other costs/change fees will be the responsibility of the guest(s).

      Frequently Asked Questions

      • How many guests are normally on this tour?

        The helicopter holds a maximum of 6 guests at a time and often our tours are maxed out at that amount. In rare circumstances, there will be up to 12 guests on tour for a certain section of the sightseeing tour into Volcanoes National Park.

      • Can I Cancel Or Change The Date Of My Tour?

        There are no cancellations allowed for inter-island day trips. Changes made 7 days after booking the tour may incur fees, and no name or date changes are allowed once booking is confirmed.

      • Is there an opportunity to purchase souvenirs during the tour?

        Yes, there will be brief stops at places like the Big Island Candies Factory or Mauna Loa Nut Factory, where guests can purchase snacks and souvenirs.

      • Can We Sit At A Front Row Seat?

        Seating arrangements on the aircraft are determined based on weight and balance considerations. Passengers have the option to reserve and pay extra for front-row seats, which can be done at the time of making the reservation. Additionally, for guests weighing 240 pounds or more, it is mandatory to purchase an adjacent empty seat. This requirement is to ensure the safe balancing of the aircraft.
