Start your day by visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It is a one-of-a-kind gem when it comes to nature reserves. After enjoying breakfast on your own at the Volcano House, with itʻs dramatic views of Halema’uma’u Crater, we will take a look around the Kilauea Visitors Center and become a little bit more knowledgeable in volcanology.
We wander over to the steam vents which add to the eerie allure of this unusual geological phenom. Take a look around at the extensive panorama that lends itself to a complete comprehension of the vastness of the lava fields and resulting volcanic geography.
Beyond volcanic exploration, guests on this tour will be treated to a short stop at the world-famous Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Factory for a look around and some sweet treats.
Along the way, you will enjoy the local flavors meals surrounded by breathtaking views. We make a stop to see if we can spot the colorful mist of Rainbow Falls. This famed set of twin waterfalls is a must. A cruise through the quaint town of Hilo lends itself to historical sightseeing.
Finally, a 45-minute sky tour via helicopter will have you glimpsing waterfalls and gasping at Kilauea’s aerial perspective. Packing the perfect balance of relaxation and stimulation into the day, this Big Island trip maximizes your visit, bringing you straight to the best of the best on Hawaii Island.
Your guide will return you to the airport for your flight and shuttle back to your Waikiki hotel or condo around 9:00 pm that evening.

There are NO cancellations on neighbor-island day trips. There are fees for changing 72-hours after booking the tour.
If the helicopter tour must be canceled by the company for any reason, guests will be refunded for the helicopter tour and welcomed on an extended sightseeing land tour.
Guests may opt for an early return and receive a refund for the helicopter tour portion. All other costs/change fees will be the responsibility of the guest(s).
